Just A Dog
Time and again I've explained to Dora
"Dora, you are just a little dog."
For some reason it seems
she does not understand
this simple fact… Like most of us
wanting to be more than
we are
So now as I glance at her stature
I get it. She is the noblest of dogs,
wise and beautiful above all others
"How dare you!" she says with her eyes, "Could you have thought otherwise?" Then relaxing into her pillow she is content, just as a
dog should be.
